OXIDATION and POLLUTANTS
Oxidation is the most severe aging factor to the surface of GRP or Fibreglass products. Australian Recreational Craft, from our Superyachts to our Tenders and Runabouts, collectively lose millions and millions of dollars in value when let deteriorate through the UV effect - salt water literally magnifies this effect. Add to these the battle of tannins from river cruising, fuel contaminants and food spills, all well known problems and time consumers when maintaining our recreational craft. There's one huge factor contributing to the aging of our craft that has been overlooked until now and that is compound sanding and buffing, this process accelerates the breaking down of the gelcoats' delicate micro porous surface, by many years. The absolute success of G R Pro-clean technology is in the extraordinary retardation of aging to your craft's surfaces and the thousands of dollars saved by you as a result. Our fully qualified Applicators will treat your craft to a non abrasive deep clean and polish that will continue on throughout the year with our personalised service washes or with the service wash solution itself left exclusively for you, in the cost of the treatment.
Although the washes are the easiest maintenance you will have ever encountered, they are an integrated part of the success of the system as they reactivate the Pro-Tect layer which is applied to the GRP. It's the closest thing to the ultimate skin care for your boat!
With G R Pro-clean, there's nothing adhering to the surface, so your shipwright will love you. Although the matrix is durable and hardy, it is not permanent. In the instance of a repair, they will have no silicone based or ceramic based product to have to spend laborious hours and your money removing before they can get to the job at hand.
